Team Tracon is happy to report that the Chilliwack Spring Fly-In 2011 was a great success; many feared the weather would be against us but as it turned out, it was much better than expected.

It was nice to see all of our regulars that travelled from all over British Columbia, Alberta and our gang from the across the line in the States.

The new aircraft this year were spectacular! Frank Jaerschky's Bucker Jungmeister was beautiful, Ken Stuhr had us guessing which way his new project, the French Voisin, was flying.

Our new addition to the gang, Brian Woolliams who came from Comox BC, flew his awesome T33 & Mirage EDF Jets that hit speeds of 214+ km/h!

Beverly and I would like to thank all of those who ignored the weather forecast and made it to this year's Chilliwack 2011 Spring Fly-In.

We also want to send out BIG thanks to our new MAAC president, Ron Dodd and the Fraser Valley RC Flyers for hosting another excellent event!
